Gandanta of Venus — July 4

Gandanta is a karmic junction — the cusp between a water sign and a fire sign, where a planet loses its familiar ground in order to be reborn. The transit of Shukra (Venus) from mystical Ashlesha (Cancer) into regal Magha (Leo) is a moment of purifying transformation. Our feelings, relationships, and relationship with money all pass through the cleansing fire of change.

Scenario 1: The Drama of ‘Wounded Ego and Ghosts of the Past’ (Relationships)

What it looks like: A sharp sense of distrust or jealousy rises from within — the shadow of Ashlesha. Then Magha’s energy kicks in, and pride whispers: ‘How dare they treat me like this? I deserve better!’

Watch out for: The temptation to sting with words. During these days, emotional venom flows easily. But wounds inflicted during Venus Gandanta take years to heal.

Advice: If you feel yourself boiling over — pause. Tell yourself: ‘This is not my partner’s fault. Venus is untying a knot. I choose love over ego.’

Scenario 2: The Financial Impulse of ‘Live It Up!’ (Money and Comfort)

What it looks like: A sudden, almost compulsive desire to spend a large sum on something status-enhancing. Or the opposite — a fear of scarcity that makes you want to hide all your resources.

Watch out for: Postpone major purchases, investments, and signing financial contracts until after July 6. Things bought during Gandanta often disappoint quickly.

• Natural Sandalwood Oil (Chandan): Your primary shield. Sandalwood has a cooling nature. It tames the fire of Magha’s wounded ego and soothes the anxiety of Ashlesha. Apply a drop to the third eye area and wrists.
• Rose or Jasmine Oil: These are the highest-order oils of pure Venus. They shift energy from manipulation toward unconditional love. Use in an oil burner or diffuser at home.

2. Sound Vibrations (Mantras)

Practice these mantras on July 3, 4, and 5 (morning or at sunset, 108 repetitions).

• For emotional stability and protection: ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ — Shiva is the lord of serpents, which symbolize Ashlesha. This mantra transforms emotional poison into the nectar of wisdom.
• For harmonizing Venus: ‘Om Shukraya Namaha’ — helps Venus pass through the junction without losses to your beauty, health, or finances.

Ekadashi

Saturday, July 11 — Yogini Ekadashi

Monday, July 25 — Devshayani Ekadashi. The day when Lord Vishnu enters his cosmic sleep (Yoga Nidra) for four months, beginning the period of Chaturmasya. In tradition, major worldly undertakings (weddings, construction) are paused. The focus shifts to austerity, vows (vratas), and inner purification.

Divination and working with the subconscious: The combination of Vishnu’s sleep and retrograde Saturn in Pisces thins the veil between worlds. These are ideal days for lucid dreaming, past-life regression, and reading the Akashic Records. Illusions dissolve, revealing the true nature of things.

Karka Sankranti — July 16, 2026

The Sun (Surya) moves into Cancer. This marks the start of Dakshinayana — the half-year when the Sun moves southward. The planet’s energy becomes more introverted. It awakens intuition, a need to protect one’s ‘nest,’ and deep emotional sensitivity.

Jaya Parvati Vrat — July 26–31

A special fast observed by women:

• Unmarried women may increase their chances of meeting a worthy partner.
• Married women can support their husband’s health and opportunities.

A properly performed ritual brings harmony to family life and invites the blessings of Shiva and Parvati. You will need wheat grains and a pot of earth. I will share the full technique in the club’s Telegram channel.

Saturn Retrograde (Shani) in Pisces — from July 26, 2026

This is the dominant astrological event of the month. Shani, the lord of karma and time, turns retrograde in the most mystical sign of the zodiac — Pisces (Meena Rashi). Pisces governs the subconscious, isolation, secrets, and liberation (moksha). Retrograde here is not a punishment — it is a cosmic pause. External processes may slow down, but an inner surge of power begins. We are called to review hidden attachments, fears, and spiritual debts.

Guru Purnima — July 29, 2026

The full moon in the month of Ashadha is one of the greatest days of the year for any spiritual seeker. This is the day of honoring the cosmic Teacher and the sage Vedavyasa. On this day, the connection with higher guidance and your inner Guru is stronger than ever. Any mantra received or practiced on this day carries extraordinary power.

Recommended for those who:

• Struggle to expand their projects and feel stuck in one place.
• Are on a path of self-development but cannot overcome material challenges.
• Have difficulty controlling impulses — anger, irritability, lack of restraint.
• Feel disappointment in life and people, or have tense relationships with children.
• Have destructive habits that are hard to overcome.
• Deal with excess weight or health issues related to sugar.
• Have an unfavorably placed Jupiter in their natal chart.
• Have Shiva as their Ishta Devata (personal patron deity).

Begin the day with a prayer of gratitude to your Teacher. During the day, reach out — call, write, or personally thank those who have been your guides.

The Teacher is the creative energy. It is the nourishing energy. The Teacher is the all-encompassing Divine principle. The Teacher is the manifest Supreme Absolute. I bow to the sacred Teacher.

According to the Vedas, the Teacher is not merely a person. They are an expression of Being — the Absolute speaking to us. The word ‘Guru’ means ‘the one who removes darkness.’ This mantra helps us develop faith in ourselves and walk the path of truth.

The Month of Shravan Begins — July 30, 2026

Right after the full moon, the sacred month entirely dedicated to Lord Shiva begins. He is the destroyer of illusions and the patron of all mystics.

Karmic magic and purification: The shift in energies at the end of the month offers keys to untying the tightest karmic knots. From July 30 onward, purification rituals, working with the water element, and reciting protective mantras (such as the Mahamrityunjaya mantra) will have surgical precision for cleansing the aura and ancestral karma.
