Payment and Refund Terms

These Payment and Refund Terms (hereinafter — “Terms”) govern the payment and refund procedure for services provided by the website roman-teos.com (hereinafter — “Website”), owned by Roman Teos (hereinafter — “Service Provider”).

By placing an order and making a payment on the Website, you (hereinafter — “Client”) confirm that you have read these Terms, fully understand them and unconditionally accept them.

These Terms have been drawn up in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection” No. 1023-XII, the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Commerce” No. 675-VIII, the Civil Code of Ukraine, and applicable norms of international law.

List of Services

The Website provides the following information and consulting services:

  • Online consultations
  • Training courses and programmes
  • Jewellery design (gemstone selection)
  • Other individual information and consulting services

The cost of each service is indicated on the corresponding pages of the Website. All prices are stated in the currency set on the Website and include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

1. Online Consultations

1.1. Payment Terms

Payment for online consultations is made in one of the following ways: per individual consultation or by purchasing a subscription package.

Payment is made in full before the consultation begins. Access to the consultation is provided exclusively after confirmation of receipt of payment.

Payment is made primarily through the Website. In case of technical payment issues, the Client may contact the Service Provider via Viber or WhatsApp at +38 (097) 321-23-23.

1.2. Rescheduling and Cancellation Terms

The following rules apply in the interests of mutual respect for both parties’ time:

— A consultation may be rescheduled no more than once.

— If the Client notifies the Service Provider of their absence no later than 12 hours before the consultation, the consultation is rescheduled to another date by mutual agreement.

— If the Client fails to notify the Service Provider of their absence at least 12 hours before the consultation, the consultation is not subject to rescheduling and is considered used.

— If the Service Provider is unable to hold the consultation at the agreed time, they must notify the Client no later than 12 hours before it begins. The consultation is rescheduled to the nearest agreed time.

— If the Service Provider notifies of cancellation or rescheduling less than 12 hours before the consultation, one additional express consultation is added to the Client’s subscription as compensation.

Rescheduling requests can be submitted via Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp at +38 (097) 321-23-23.

1.3. Refund Terms

The Client is entitled to a refund for paid but unused consultations. To do so, a request must be submitted to the Service Provider no later than 3 (three) calendar days from the date of payment.

The Service Provider reviews the request within 5 (five) calendar days of receipt. Upon confirmation of the right to a refund, funds are returned within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date the decision is made, less actual bank transfer fees.

2. Training Courses and Programmes

2.1. Payment Terms

Payment for training courses and programmes is made in a single full payment before access to the materials is granted.

Access to the paid course or programme is granted within 24 (twenty-four) hours of payment confirmation.

Payment is made primarily through the Website. In case of technical payment issues, the Client may contact the Service Provider via Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp at +38 (097) 321-23-23.

2.2. Refund Terms

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”, the Client is entitled to a refund for a paid but unused course or programme, subject to the following conditions:

— The Client submits a refund request no later than 3 (three) calendar days from the date of payment.

— The request states the reason for cancellation.

— Access to course or programme materials has not been used at the time the request is submitted.

The Service Provider reviews the request within 5 (five) calendar days. Upon confirmation, funds are returned within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date the decision is made, less actual bank transfer fees.

Refunds for partially used courses or programmes are not provided.

3. Jewellery Design (Gemstone Selection)

3.1. Payment Terms

The jewellery design service is provided in stages as follows:

— Stage 1: Design concept development. Completed after 100% prepayment for the designer’s services. After the Client approves the design concept, a 3D model of the jewellery is developed.

— Stage 2: Physical manufacture of the jewellery. Begins after the Client makes a prepayment of 50% of the total cost of materials and labour.

— Stage 3: Final payment. The remaining amount is paid by the Client before the finished jewellery is dispatched.

Payment is made primarily through the Website. In case of technical payment issues, the Client may contact via Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp at +38 (097) 321-23-23.

3.2. Refund Terms

Due to the individual nature of this service, the following conditions apply:

— If the Client cancels the design service after work has commenced, the prepayment for the design concept is non-refundable, as the work is performed by an engaged designer (freelancer). An exception applies if the Service Provider finds another buyer for the designed model — in that case, the prepayment is refunded less actual bank charges.

— If the Client refuses to pay the second instalment (for physical manufacture), the prepayment is not refunded, as precious materials, gemstones and other raw materials have already been used.

These conditions are due to the nature of bespoke manufacturing and comply with the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection” regarding goods and services made to the Client’s individual specifications.

4. Other Individual Information and Consulting Services

4.1. Payment Terms

Individual information and consulting services are provided after full prepayment. The deadlines, scope and form of service delivery are agreed by the parties in advance and recorded in writing (including via messenger correspondence).

Payment is made primarily through the Website. In case of technical issues, the Client may contact via Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp at +38 (097) 321-23-23.

4.2. Refund Terms

The Client is entitled to a refund for a paid but undelivered service, subject to the following conditions:

— The refund request is submitted no later than 3 (three) calendar days from the date of payment.

— If the agreed service delivery period is less than 3 days, the refund request must be submitted no later than 36 hours before the agreed service start date and time.

— The request states the reason for cancellation.

The Service Provider reviews the request within 3 (three) calendar days of receipt. Upon confirmation, funds are returned within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date the decision is made, less actual bank transfer fees.

5. General Provisions

5.1. Payment Methods

Available payment methods are listed on the Website. The Service Provider reserves the right to change the list of available payment methods without prior notice.

5.2. Payment Security

All payment transactions are carried out through secure payment systems. The Service Provider does not store or process the Client’s payment card details.

5.3. Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests are submitted in writing to: fin_doc_teos@gmail.com or via the messengers listed on the Website. The request must include: the Client’s name, name of the service paid for, date of payment, amount, and reason for cancellation.

5.4. Amendments to these Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page of the Website. Continued use of the Website and its services after the amendments take effect constitutes the Client’s acceptance of the updated Terms.

5.5. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. All disputes arising in connection with payment, refunds or service delivery shall be resolved through a claims procedure and, if no agreement is reached, in the courts of Ukraine in accordance with applicable law.
